NASA emailed me their Time Trials schedule today. Obviously in error, but they dyno cars?

Yep, they sure do. I'm trying to get 9SR dyno added to the certified list of dyno's too. They have you do 3 consecutive pulls and the owner of the shop has to sign off on it. Their classes are broken down into power to weight ratio now, so an average dyno number has to be given. There's a lot about it on the NASA site too.

A way to cheat I never knew about.

The only problem is that if you dyno on lower boost and run on higher boost you could be put back on a dyno from impound, technically. I have hopes that most people wouldn't be that shady though.

I forget whose quote this is:

"I know you're cheating because I'm cheating and you're faster than me."

Or the book that Carroll never wrote: Cheat to Win!

Sadly a friend once told me, "It's not cheating, it's creative winning". As it is Erron and I are already in the highest class so a low dyno number wouldn't really help.

Exactly right. Since we'll be in unlimited anyway it won't matter much.
Like Kenny says the military taught him, "If you aren't cheatin', you aren't tryin'!" :D

Probably not. Between my new job, my own biz, and family, i'm having one busy year so far. I'd like to, but I haven't even picked up a trailer yet. (for the car anyway)
You going?

Definately going. I went to Pueblo in March. I'm interested to see how the Megan coilovers do. I'm still pretty new at this HPDE.

I sure do want to get some wings for this Talon...spelled...turbo.

I'm looking at some light weight wheels also...Enkei RPF1. I just need to figure out the correct offset for 17x8 for my 1g.

I know Chris has signed up.

Too small on the wheels.

If you did go with 8" wide wheels though, you can get away with stock offset using most 245 width tires. It requires a small amount of trimming on the trailing arm, and the abs bracket thing on the front strut has to go, but other than that it's the tightest fit you can get without needing flares. It's totally dependent on the tires though, I have less than a mm of clearance at some points between the tire and the suspension.
