Finally see some pictures of what the turbos look like here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174828).

It would appear that it might be possible to fit bigger compressor housings and wheels, and machine the stock turbine housing for bigger wheels there. Certainly a strange looking turbine housing.

The car seems to have the potential to be the next Supra among the people-with-money set. It's faster than the current/most recent M3 stock at this elevation, and looks like it's good for about 10mph more with only a piggyback. Similar acceleration when stock and mildly modded to an EVO IX.

It's a beast, but I understand it's been having oiling issues...?

The only oil issue I've heard about is that they don't have an oil cooler. People try to open-track them and the ECU goes into limp mode when the oil hits about 300 degrees. From a design perspective it makes sense to me if you don't really want to sell an open-track turbo car. They already have the M3 for that.

Yeah, that's about what I've heard as well. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It seems almost as though the engineers did this intentionally.
