Hi,
I am looking for a 97 dsm cas connector harness (not the cam angle sensor). The connector itself

Thanks

If you're looking for the harness side, I have one.

This is Dan BTW. Your brother picked up an engine stand from my house last summer, but I've moved since then. I'm just off of I-25 and Colorado now, which isn't far from my old place. My AIM is ritchie2413 but I haven't been on lately. PM me if you don't still have my phone number.

It's the 3 pin plug, from a 97, for the cam sensor. It also has about 6" of wiring attached to it so you won't have any problems soldering it on.

I honestly can't see anyone really wanting to buy one of these, and I have two, so you can just have it. Any chance you have a broken 97-99 cam sensor? I need the sensor side of the plug, and I think I have to hack it off of an old sensor.

Hey buddy, how are you been ? Haven't hear from you in a long time. Before I purchased a cam sensor for my 97 talon from somebody belongs to one of these dsm forums.

Looking at those pics it's really hard to tell.

You have to turn the motor over until the marks line up. In the first picture, you can see the dowel pin on the right camshaft, almost behind the bolt...that should be pointing directly up, like at the "12" if it was on a clock.

Also, there is a mark on the crank, on the balance shaft sproket, and a mark on the oil pump that should all line up when that happens. If they don't line up, keep turning the motor until they are very close, then take those same pictures again.

I will say, with the silver area on the crank plate, I'm nervous that the plate has touched the sensor that you can also see in the picture...that could mean crankwalk...does that silver area look like it has been scraped off?
