I have seen a couple post like this before but no real things to pinpoint. My #4 cylinder (furthest from the timing belt) has a strong tendency to arc it's plug so that by the time I pull it out- the tip is completely bent over. I notice this symtom occurs most often under boost, but not always. THe plugs aren't in bad shape and this has happened with both my NGK iridiums and BPR6ES's. I'm running Magnecor wires and this is off my '92 6-bolt 1G. It's got a bad fuel pressure reg. but I'm trying to get a hold of a used afpr for now. Any help would be great!

I have found that this problem is persistant every time I drive. When I reach 4k and it's under load, any load, the car acts like it arcs a plug, even if it doesn't. This would lead me to beleive the coil pack is bad. Any suggestions/ self-tests?

Thanks for any help in advance.
