I posted on the email list, but figured why not have all the info here...
It sounds like there is a State Patrol run course in Golden...with a massive bump.
Also there's another in Pueblo.
Are there any others? What about the names of the tracks, websites, phone numbers, cost to run, etc.?
Thanks everyone!

Yeah no kidding. Right now there's absolutely nothing. If I want to ride a decent lap on my motorcycle, it looks like I'd have to trailer the thing to Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
There has to be something in the works for us deprived Coloradans now that they've managed to can every decent track in the state.

And I almost went that day, but the parts for the car are taking WAYYY too long. We live just a hop away from PMI.

It has been sad to see SCR and PPIR fade away. We still have Pueblo Motorsports Park in Pueblo and the La Junta Raceway in La Junta. They are both a bit of drive to get to go road racing. As for the new track, it still looks a ways off...the following is from RMVR.Com.
CAMA (which includes SCCA, RMVR PCA, MRA and MCCA) has been working on the Deer Trail possibility since mid-December, and it does look promising. The present dirt road course is 2.5 miles and could be modified and paved for our type of use; right now there are dirt "jumps" that would really be tough on a road course car!! We are having discussions with the owner, have investigated the permitting possibilities, construction costs, etc. To say it's a "done deal" is waaay premature. It is the most exciting prospect we've had, though, and if everything comes together, we could have a track with dramatic elevation changes, paved access and secure zoning as early as 2007.

Paul and I have been watching this for the last few years. It's been an up/down rollercoaster of maybe's. I just keep my fingers crossed....
