There used to be a list of gas station locations / race fuel sources around Denver. Anyone know where it can be found and if it's current now?
Thanks, all.

I did get a hold of Mark Thompson for high octane VP and Sunoco. Chris, Shawn, and myself were just over at his house picking up a bunch. He has 104, 109, and 116 for $7 a gallon, your choice. I can give you his number if you'd like it?
He's up at roughly 120th and Washington...

That sounds like what I need. Please give me his number, ASAP.
How do you store and transport your gas?
Why would you get less than 116 if it all costs the same?
Thanks for answers!!

The octane rating relates to how much energy it takes to ignite the gas not directly to how much energy it puts out. Running too high an octane will actually make less power because the mixture is burning slower. You'll make the most power by using the lowest octane you can safely get away with. For some CoDSMers that may well be 116 :D

If 100-104 unleaded is good enough, avoiding long term issues with the O2 sensor and cat is nice.

I used 104 unleaded (Sunoco from Bandi) with my Big28 and the 20G and internal wastegate (23psi max). I switched to 110 leaded (Sunoco from Bandi) when I got the FP Green w/external wastegate because I was running 26-28psi and adding in +6 to +8 degrees of timing on top of the normal timing.
I went with the VP C16 because I plan on running 32-35psi with nitrious this year. And at $7 how could you go wrong? I thought I bought it all up though. *shrug*

To add to the list, just found out lanier in the springs has 104 unleaded $7/gal. Now I can finally diagnose that silly cruise knock I'm having, yipee!

$7 for 104
I think even bandimere charges less then $7 for 104.
BTW, Duggans is supposidly out of race gas for 2 more weeks, last I heard.

Yes, it's pricey... but it's cheaper than burning 3 gallons on the way back home :D
