I jumped on the wideband bandwagon, and it should arrive sometime next week.
Anyone here willing to weld an O2 bung to the downpipe for me?
Speaking of which, I guess I'd better buy an O2 bung.

Anyway, I can give reasonable $$ for your services. I'd like to have it done before the NineSecondRacing dyno day, and can be as flexible as possible to your schedule to make it happen.

Let me know.

Keep in mind you want that thing at least 18" away from the turbo. I put mine in my rear 02 sensor spot (2G's have a front and rear 02). Not sure if the GVR4's do or not, but more or less just a heads up for you to put it further down the downpipe when you do it. I'll throw this the welding monkey's way and see if he's interested.

Sure! It would have to be a weekday evening if possible. I'm booked on the weekends for a month. :D

Can I call you, or you can call me when you get a second and we can work out a schedule. I'll have to go buy the bung first anyway.

Innovative wideband come with a 02 bung. Not sure about others.

Hey Erron, Would you be able to weld a new flange for my UICP? The flange I have on there now is warped and cracked my type-s bov. So before I put the new one on, I need to get it fixed before it cracks also. Also if i get a mild steel flange, would it be an issue welding it to SS?

You bet! Not an issue what so ever. I can weld SS to mild all day long. They do expand and contract with temp at different rates, so over time it may develop cracks. (haven't seen one do it yet, but the theory is there) Anytime I weld a flange, it's a good idea to have it planed just to make sure it's 100% flat. A belt sander will also work in a pinch. The weld as they cool like to pull and this can result in a slight warp on the flange. You could even plane it with a file if you have the time. :D
