So i have a 1991 Talon and after sitting for a few or more hours the car idles kind of funny.

It'll start up right away every time and starts at about 1500rpm before it warms up and goes down but as soon as i start the car in motion is when it starts acting up. i'll drive it to the light and stop and it wont idle lower then 2000rpm and then revs it self up and down another 500rpm from there until the engine is nice and heated (not overheated). i let me car warm up for like ten minutes once and it didn't do this but i cant afford to let the gas burn that much everyday.

anybody have any ideas as to whats up?

Check to make sure the cable isn't binding, also check the idle switch on the throttle body.

Combination of FIAV operating normally and the idle not being set right.
