gaskets?

So yesterday i bought a 16g, the guy i got it from told me that he kept cracking the gasket on the inlet off the manifold. he told me they sell aftermarket ones that are thicker but i can find one? is it even necissary? or can i just stick with the stainless ones? thanks :D

Have both your manifold and your turbine housing mating surfaces checked for flatness. I have had repeat gasket failures from warped surfaces in the past. If you want the thick ones RRE has them and I would recommend theirs.
