Newb question:
Do you have to remove the battery to fit on the pipe, or can you wedge it in without removing the battery? I haven't bought the pipes yet. I'm still deciding on a GReddy RS recirculated, or keeping my HKS.

Are you talking about the hose that attaches to the TB elbow (as opposed to the pipe that goes under the stock airbox)? Either way, I'm fairly certain you can fit it in without removing the battery--but even if you do have to remove the battery, is that really such a big deal?

I'm talking about a hard pipe that attaches to the TB. And it is a big deal because me and batteries don't get along  j/k

It should fit in there without removing the battery.

Here's a pic of one installed (dejon) http://dsm.dejonpowerhouse.com/edit/2-02L_2gCar1.jpg
You might need to remove the battery to be able to get a wrench to the TB bolt, but then again I have a set of crap tools.

Yea, I've seen that pic before. For some reason I had it in my head that the pipe came out farther on the TB side.

The GMAFT comes out a little further:

but no Battery relocation required, possibly removal, but nothing that won't add 5 minutes to putting it on.

It's easier for sure with the battery out. I tried installing mine without removing it, then pulled the battery out about 15 (frustrated) minutes later because I just couldn't get my hand in there far enough/at the right angle.

Sounds good. I'm lazy and was just wondering if there was a way to get the L and S pipes on with as little effort as possible :D
