Accufab 75mm 96-04 Mustang 4.6 Throttle Body #f7546

Bought this for my new Magnus intake. Got my wires crossed and I ordered the 5.0L TB flange for the Magnus, but the 4.6L throttle body. Would have just returned it for the right throttle body, but I already welded the backs of the screws on the shaft so I didn't digest them in the motor under boost. This has been known to happen when using this throttle body with DSMs. Still is brand new other than the welded screws which is what you'd want to do anyways. Make sure if your ordering a manifold or have one that it is flanged for this throttle body. Otherwise you'll have fitment issues.

Bought this off ebay for $230 shipped.

Is that the 75mm throttle body that you can have the Magnus flanged for or is that the throttle body you ment to order?

EDIT: I just checked that link and you had it listed as 75mm / 3" so I think I just answered my own question.

Yes Magnus can flange your manifold for either a 75mm '85-'93 5.0L TB or a 75mm '96-'02 4.6L TB along with most of the other manifold makers out there (Forrester, JM Fabs, Dejon, etc). My dumb ass got the opposite of what I should have got. So I'm trying to sell off the wrong one for my particular manifold. Anyone could order the right flanged manifold though.

Throttle response. The 1G throttle body is good for over 700hp and should be fine for most people. There are no significant gains in power with the bigger throttle body either. This is something for someone who is serious about racing and wants a similar setup to what some of the big guy's run (most of the big guys go bigger actually, 90mm), or someone who wants to get better throttle response.

Currently I'm not running the Accufab 75mm, but I am running the stock 5.0L TB which oddly enough is 60mm just like our 1G TB's (or at least it looks the same size as our stock ones when I hold them up with the throttle plates open looking through).
