OK, let's pony up. We need some more DSM's besides Chris and I on the track.
You got cajones? Then let's see a roll call of who is going.
No more excuses!:p

Talk Erron into going and I will.

Well, it seems to me if Jake is willing to go, then Erron needs to grab his"you know whats" and be there... (and I can say this because of my age) or be square.

In your profile you indicate you're a "racer" and your location is " two positons ahead of you".
If you're a racer you need to be at PMP.
And you can't be ahead of anybody if you're not racing.

How about it Erron? It's not a trailer queen is it?:p

DAMN! You need a donut for that one.:p

I'm doing my best. Just got the car running again from the single conversion. Tuning it this weekend.

I've just been busy. Kids, job, owning a business, Karting, and trying to prep a car for racing takes a ton of time. I knew we were going to down on tracks for a year or so, which is why i'm taking my time and just kinda enjoying life at the moment.

It's not a trailer queen, but I wouldn't drive it to Pueblo or La Junta. It would have to be trailered down there. (slicks, no radio, vertical seats, etc..) Man, I miss SCR!!!

Sooo Jake, this means you'll be there?

Mike, you and Julia better be there. Or maybe I'll...... pull your chef's hat (I'm sure there's a French word for that) down around your knees! Yes, I kiss her w/that mouth and she loves it... unless I'm drooling.

Well, we're finishing up some aero work that was suggested by some good friends on an ALMS GT2 team so we should be tested and ready to rock :)

Sure, find me transport there and back and I'm there. That's really the biggest issue.

So, Price? That would be the main factor in me going.

I'm doing timing belt stuff Sat. (first time for me) with the help of Oleg.

When is a good time for you Jake?

I'm working from the house today, you can stop by then if you have time. At 3 I have to run over to MAC for a few minutes then I believe we're going to see the new Harold and Kumar flick :) So if you can squeeze me in today that would work. Tomorrow I'll be helping Erron tune so I'm not sure what sort of time I have.

Dang, I left home for some errands this morning and didn't check my email 'til now.
I'll check with you for another time.

So who will be there this weekend and which day? I'm scrambling trying to get the car started and tuned (keep changing too many pieces in between events). But I'll be there no matter what. I'm hoping to get some rides in some other DSMs while I'm there! (and maybe even a 3si too)

Hopefully Jake and Erron will make it out there - you two seem to be the only other serious road racers in the area... I just haven't seen you at the track yet :p

Erron's having an...oil issue. And I destroyed my flywheel/crank via bolt issues. Regardless I am trying to make it. The new crank will be at the machine shop today, finished tomorrow and hopefully the spare flywheel and new crank will be in the car Tomorrow or Friday night.

Ouch! We'll see if I can get my crap all taken care of... if I do maybe I can cruise by and help.

Great driving and racing both days. I was moved to HPDE3 first thing Sat. morning.
There was another DSM there. They do mostly rallies. He drove the AWD and she drove their Firebird in HPDE. Fine folks.
I picked up a transponder Sun. and posted a best time of 2:06:488. 10 seconds ahead of an '84 944, and about 5 seconds behind an '05 Infinity G35 TT,'02 Mazda Miata, '04 Subaru STI, and an'84 BMW 325is.
And only 22 seconds behind an '06 Corvette Z06.

Sure wish Chris, Mike and Julia, and Jake had been there.

Maybe next time?

OK, all youse guys and gals the next NASA at PMP is in June. You've got plenty of time to eliminate the excus...er...problems.

So lets have a good DSM turn out.

Actually Erron and I have an earlier event we'll be attending :) For the most part we'll be at more SCCA events than NASA though.

fhudsonjr
May 25th, 2008, 11:35 PM
Dang! I thought you guys would be more down to earth, rather than messing with those high-fallutin' SCCA people.:p

v413nc3
May 26th, 2008, 10:21 PM
NASA has...issues :) Not that SCCA doesn't either but I'll run with the group that has the least issues with me running. The upcoming event we'll be attending is a NASA sponsored event.
