can someone weld my cat in??

Is there anyone near highlands ranch that can cut out a section of my exhaust and weld in a cat for me this weekend?? I don't have a test pipe installed, it's a solid pipe and i need this done to pass emissions. I tried Midas (since they are close to me) and they gave me some story about not being able to use my cat because there is no way for them to verify it's the "correct one for my car"... In other words they want me to pay them more for a new one....

Just take it to any mom and pop muffler shop and they can do it for you.

I went to a place up in Longmont and had my whole 3" exhaust installed. They didn't ask any questions about the 3" "cat" they put in. My cat is more like a resonator, it has not honeycombs in it at all.

Luckily I live in Weld County so emissions are not a problem for me.
