Looking to get my EPROM socketed and I was hoping there was still someone doing it locally.

My question is, what size injectors do I need if I want to run E85 with the following mods.

Open Exhaust
16G
2g MAF
Stock Fuel Pump

I know I need to upgrade the pump but do I need 1000cc injectors? Can I get away with 660cc's?

You can get away with 660s, but unless you are planning on using something crude like an AFC to manage your fuel, then you would probably want to go bigger anyway. In general, bigger injectors only cost a little bit more than smaller ones. Since you want to get your EPROM socketed, I assume you aren't planning on using an AFC, so my opinion is to go with 950cc or bigger injectors. That will allow you to run E85 if you want with your current setup and will allow you to go much bigger on the turbo if you ever decide to do that.

I should be called an idiot for not searching first. Found the answers I need about E85.

I only want to run a big16G but I want to run it to the max! So I think I will need AT LEAST the 750cc or even bigger. I have a feeling that E85 on 660's will be too small around 24psi. Anyone think different?

Anyone still socket ECU's? If I had a spare one I would do it my self buy I don't think I have the required skills (although I get better with each project). What I will really need help with is the editing of the bin files from the ECU. I have been reading a lot I just want someone to bouce what I think I know to get some form of correction.

660's will not support nearly that much boost. I ran the numbers for my old 550's a few months ago, and they'd only get me to 14-ish psi.

My most recent setup was for e85@24psi boost. I used an Evo316g/950's/rewired 255/eprom chip/safc1, which will be good up to 26-28psi before the injectors start maxing out. Might as well go big if you are burning a chip for them, that way you have plenty of headroom.

Thanks for your help. I am going 1000cc since I already have them.

Now about that ECU socket....

I forgot that bit. Jack McGee socketed mine...Jack IAT on here. He's in the Springs.

750s aren't enough either. I tried that with an E3 16g and was maxing out the pulsewidth when the turbo hit full boost. My 750s were just "barely" enough for my old T28.
