Hey guys, I was wondering what your opinions are on something- I have a couple exhaust leaks and need to remove the turbo to fix them...the turbo is an evo3 16g and I have not felt it close to its potential since it is like having a wastegate open all of the time(leaks are between the manifold and turbine housing).

Should I reinstall the 16g and have fun with it for a while, or sell it along with a big28 I have and some other parts to buy a Bullseye P. BW S256?(or any comparable size turbo around the same price if anyone has suggestions)

I know this is like asking what my favorite color should be, but I figured I would just see what you guys have to say.

How much are evo3 16g's and FP Big28's that are in good shape going for does anyone know? Thanks

Steven

Situations like this are why people think DSMs are money pits. Use what you have until it breaks, THEN upgrade or change it.

I would clean up the exhaust mani and turbine housing (port it) and get everything as smooth and clean as possible. Stick the E316G back in there and if the car is done right, you can go pretty fast with it. I'd keep the E316G.
