Honda shop in the Springs?

A buddy of mine was driving home in his V6 6speed Accord coupe, and the engine started knocking. He limped it home, at which point it would not idle/run without extra throttle input. Over the phone, it sounds like a rod bearing.

Is there a Honda place in the Springs, besides the dealership? Jack, do you guys do Hondas? He lives about 6 miles from your shop on the east side of downtown.

Or to really ask for big favors, if someone from down there could do a drive-by and help diagnose the noise....I can provide his contact info.

Back when I had my slow dependable Forest green Civic, I went to ZCSPEED

They use to be located off Nevada. Since then they have moved, but I would check around town someone said they are still around.

They were good people, helped me out & gave me a free engine mount bolt I was missing.....haha

I know JACK's does Honda transmissions, not sure about engine work though.
