Didn't the Stealth only came in front wheel drive?

They came in both FWD and AWD. Mine's an AWD as well.

The turbo models (R/T and VR4) were only available with AWD, correct?
The base models and SL were FWD.

Oh I see,
I was under the impression that they only offered the VR-4 (AWD, all wheel steering) in the 3000GT but this is not the case? I wonder why they weren't also referred to as DSMs.

Ya, the 4 wheel steering I would never give up. Makes it handle like no other. :D
From what I understand, a "DSM" or what some say is a true dsm was made in the factory in Normal, IL. Kinda funny, because my Dodge Stealth was made in Japan.

I really like the 3000GT and the Stealth and I was checking out autotrader but then a friend told me that they had the all time worst record for Warranty work or something of the sort. Is this true? What are the common problems that they have?

The most common issue is the transfer case. There is a recall on them that gets you a new rear seal. Most people blow the t-case by having old shotty engine mounts with additional power. It rocks the engine, putting a kink in the drive shaft, and bang, the t-case explodes. I have solid engine mounts so no movement at all. I've never had and issue with the t-case, even will all the launches and racing miles on it.

Awesome,
So what are some of the 3si (they are referred to?) sites that you frequent? I'd like to get some more information. Somwhere down the road I'd like to own one.
Thanks,
Jesse

3si is the international web ring. www.3si.org
They are usually called 3S's. (3000gt/Stealth)
There's also www.co3s.org which is the local chapter. There are tons of links out of 3si you can go to, but for the most part the biggest is 3si.

Make sure you hit up Peter pan and get some fairy dust so that you lose a few pounds off that tank.

It's not that bad, full race weight with me, the cage, camera, helmet, etc., was 3500.

It's got another two Cylinders and an extra turbo to make up for the added girth. And I doubt he spends near as much wrench time on it compared to a DSM. LOL. :D
