Has been hard to shift into gears lately so I checked the gear oil in the tranny, perfectly fine. At high rpm's she would not go into 4th. :/ Slow driving was manageable. Today driving to work it popped out of second and would not go into gear at all with the car running and barely with the car off. I believe the synchros are gone but just getting confirmation before I rip off the tranny and send it off to jack.

Have you looked at the simpler things? Make sure that your clutch is adjusted and engaging properly, and check for leaks at both master and slave, and check the fluid level before you go pulling the trans out.

What year is it? If it popped out of gear and wouldn't go in thats usually not good. Definitely double check the clutch adjustment before you tear into this.

Sounds like a dragging clutch to me. Normally in DSMs if the synchros are bad they grind. If they block you out of the gear it is clutch related. Try this but be careful:

1) Have the car running with the e-brake off so it can roll.
2) Push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and hold it there.
3) Turn off your launch limiter in DSM link if equipped so the engine can hit 7K RPM.
4) Put the car into 1st gear.
5) Rev the engine up until you feel the car start to move forward.

If the car moves forward below 7200RPM, your clutch is dragging.

STOP!!!

Check your shifter cables where they mount to the transmission and under the shifter boot inside the car. If either place is loose or undone you have found your problem. how fast did this problem progress?

This problem happened in roughly 3 days. I can't start it in gear, it won't let me at all, but if I press it against 1st or 2nd and rev the motor it will start to creep forward. None of the shifter cables are loose, and neither the master or slave is leaking. Also going into reverse it will make a loud dragging/clank sound/pop.

If it moves forward with the clutch engaged then it is a clutch issue. If the fluids aren't leaking then the clutch fork could be bent or partially broken. I would pull the trans and look at the clutch and clutch fork. The clutch could also have a broken spring causing the issue.

I will be pulling it out this weekend. I will check for any loose bolts on the tranny, re adjust the clutch and see if that helps any or changes anything. Other than that tranny is getting dropped. Thanks guys will keep you posted.

Keeping you guys posted. I dropped the tranny last night to reveal a broken throw out bearing, and about 4 broken fingers on my one year old 2600 clutch. Though my fly wheel is still in good shape, I need to replace my pressure plate and disc, and an oem throw out bearing.
