OK, that's a lot of choices all for the same price (86 is $50 more) what gives? what are the pro's con's of ea? Aside from the 88 making the most power, why would you even go smaller then that?

Depends on what you intend to target as your goals. There's always bigger turbos, but if you want any low end responsiveness or mid-range, then you have to decide which range of RPM and efficiency you want. Some bigger turbos will never get spooled up with the motor you're using, or will spool so slow that your powerband starts on boost at 6000 RPM, and dies every time you shift...

Yes, there's a big difference. There are some good threads on the DSMlink forums. Basically, do you want to be able to do an AWD burnout? Thats what these turbos can do. The new turbos from PTE are just as good and half the price too. Shearer Fab carries them - call Ron and talk with him. He's a good guy and hasnt got the attitude that the FP a-holes have.

Sounds like you have a problem with FP. That's too bad but we'll factor that into your opinions :)
The PTE turbos are sold by many vendors instead of the FP turbos because there is a much higher vendor profit margin. When you're in business to sell parts, that makes a sizeable difference...
