Looks cool, but I question whether it would actually provide any additional structural integrity. (Let's face it, most aftermarket products are designed and not engineered.) IIRC you're trying to avoid blowing the aluminum front half of the case and not the tailshaft portion; in which case, I don't think this will do much in that respect.

Good point. There have been some guys that "push" the rear portion of the t-case out by stripping the 4 bolts. Who knows, may be cheap insurance.

It would seem to me that the easiest 'fix' to this particular problem would be to install steel threaded inserts (not Helicoil inserts) or drill through-holes and use longer bolts with nuts if that's an option...but I'm no mechanical engineer. :p
