Running my car last night with the EMS and I realized comparing between the Autometer gauge and what AEMPro was telling me that the wizard didn't properly setup my stock water temp sensor. I was seeing 194 on AEMPro and my Autometer was showing 210ish. Because this was that off I wasn't getting my fans on at the right time. I rescaled the table to match my autometer somewhat, but was hoping someone on this list might have one that is scaled correctly so I can copy it into mine and get it closer to accurate. It seems the only item in the wizard that doesn't work correctly is the Mitsubishi one. I can load any other sensor in correctly, but not that one. Checking the AEM forums too, but figured maybe someone local could help out.

I don't have any help for you, but I can at least say that I've experienced the same thing between what the AEM says, and what my Stack reads. The sensors are right next to each other, but the AEM is twenty or so degrees F too high.
I never bothered to rescale anything (and truthfully, it never ocurred to me), as the only thing it affects on my setup is the warm-up enrichment. I don't run it rich when it's hot, and the car never gets that hot anyway. Plus, I have my fans set up for manual operation, as there's some things I don't want computer controlled, know what I mean?

Well at least I know it's universal then. Kenny has the same thing on his 1G too. I was thinking maybe it was v1.19. I'll just rescale it to be as good as I can get it I guess, and go from there. I think I will be using timing enrichment for warm up so I want it as close to accurate as possible. At least the car isn't dependant on it unless you use a modifier.

I think Jake on RMDSM is pretty knowledgable with aem ems. You may want to try and PM him? He also has a 2g.

I have noticed this too, and there are several reasons for it. It honestly doesnt matter at all, since when you tune the cold start enrichment etc you are not doing it based on what your gauge says, but what the AEM says it is. The only real concern is when, like Chris, you are using it to control your fans. Calibrating it is easy, but lemme know if you need help

Actually they had a different calibration for it back in 1.03 and updated it to what it is now. The older 1.03 calibration for the sensor was closer to accurate which is why I still use that scaling.
