Smog in Colorado Springs

Hi guys,

I just moved to Colorado from California. I am wondering what the smog procedures are here. I have a 98 GSX that I need to get smoged so I can register it. It is definitely modified. The easy visual items are the air cleaner, external blow off valve, and 3" exhaust/with high flow cat.

If you passed in California you'll pass here. I think a correclty working cat is the most important. As far as I know nobody has failed for removing the emmissions stuff under the hood.

I removed basically every device other than the CAT. My engine is completely modded w/ NOS. The trick is to turn your fuel settings down. I adjusted the fuel pressure regulator and ACF settings. Make sure the engine is warm before you go to the testing joint.

I passed and the car is now registered in Co. I did have to turn up my idle to 1000 because of the cams but it passed fine after that. I have DSMLink so it runes like stock until I punch it. My mane concern was in California I had to put my stock air box in to pass visual. That was before I installed my FP3052 and the external waste gate. Fortunately they never noticed my front mount or blow off valve. Nothing is legal in California. I am glad to be here where it only matters if your car passes, not what is bolted on it.
