anyone know the max amount of psi a stock T25 and the 4G63 motor from a 97 eclipse GST. its currently at 12 psi. i doubt it can go much higher but its worth a shot.

Keep it at 12psi man........if you want to make more power, get a different turbo.

Up here...anything above 15psi is going to blown that sunofa***** up.
Maybe not "right away"....but you won't be driving around with it for long at high PSI.

I ran my T-25 at 15psi for a little over a year. It wasn't till I was at Bandi and wanted to run higher boost that it blew because of spikes. I blame the DIY boost controller me and another member made back then (this was 8 years ago). It was set for 17psi but spiked to 21psi and 2 runs of that and it was done. Ran a 15.3 and a 15.1 IIRC on that turbo before she blew ('97 AWD). They were the only runs she had for me so take that for what it is worth. :)

In hind site max I would run on that turbo is 14psi with no spikes higher than 16psi but that is because I like to push things. Truth is you should probably just leave it alone and work on your launching and shifting skills if you don't have the money to replace the turbo right away. A few PSI with that turbo isn't going to make up crazy amounts of time like good shifts and launches will.

I pulled a 13.96 out of my t-25 at bandi. Allen was there to. It just takes some good driving and good timing. IIRC my boost spike to 18 but fell to 15-16 psi. The psi isnt the issue as much as what else to do before you turn up the boost.

Pm me if you want some help

I have the 2G tube for recirculation (the one that goes from the BOV to the intake pipe). I'm up in Arvada. $5 and it is yours. I think they are around $10 from Satan (the dealership) if you just go there.
