What would be the easiest way to remove the window wiper blade regulator on a 1G? Reason being is I want to completely remove all the components from my engine bay so I can paint it.

What? Wiper blade regulator? You mean the window guide rail? Remove the door panel and knock out the rivets(i think they are rivets) that hold it to the regulator. Good luck.
