PTT worn splines

I don't know the correct term, but the "groves", "splines" in the discs are GONE!!! that's why my clutch went out..... everything else was perfect, but seriously, they are smooth almost no groves what so ever.

I guess I will just order some new ones from PTT

How in the heck did this happen? and how to avoid it from happening again?

PTT had an issue with non-hardened splines, as I recall, and had a set of discs availalble that were also hardened. You might want to discuss this with them directly by telephone...

Well, $200 shipped for new clutches, I could have spent $60 ea to be re-hubbed........... nah, just go new.......... so, not too bad I guess.
