Hey all,
My Dad who towed my car to Bonneville in '04 has had two spinal surgeries this year, and now gets around with a walker, and can't make it to this year's meet in Sept. He had hoped to be recovered in time, but that was wishful thinking as it turns out.
-So, anyone with a full-sized truck that can tow a DSM on a trailer(yet to be located by me) who would like to have an all-expense paid trip to Bonneville in late-Sept. should contact me ASAP.
-Or does anyone have any in's or know anyone who could get me a sweet deal on truck and trailer rentals? If so, please respond ASAP.
The Salt is smooth, dry, and hard this year; so high speeds are expected. Also, the "World's Fastest Indian" movie has generated huge interest in Salt racing, so there will be more cars running there this Sept. than in years past.
Thanks, James
