I've been apart of the dsm community for many years now.. I've sold well over 50items between dsmtalk, dsmtuners, ebay, dsmlink. I've also bought many things with no issues until now... On june 25th i paid 200$ to David County of Sterling, CO (about 1 1/2 from where i live) for an HX40 turbo.. He said he would pm the tracking number when he shipped the item.. Shipping should take one day max because we live near each other. I waited a week for the turbo, nothing... So after 9 days i PMed him asking for the tracking number, or where the turbo was.. No response.. Emailed him, no response. Pmed him on dsmtalk forums, no response, sent him text message, no response. It's now been three weeks and i still have no turbo and no reply from him. I have now filed a paypal complaint and hope i get the money back.. I highly suggest you do NOT buy anything from him. Turns out he screwed another dsm member on a throttle body. His name is David County, screen name: 95GSXCO on dsmlink forums, dsmtalk, dsmtuners, CODSM and rmdsm. His phone number is 970-430-0529, and as i mentioned he lives in Sterling, CO.

If this does not get resolved in one weeks time he will be banned form this site. We do not allow scammers on here PERIOD.

Edit: After looking at his account, he hasn't been on here since 2007. I'll send him an email warning him about the transaction, but I doubt it'll do much good if he never logs on here.

95GSXCO has been banned as I would rather avoid him taking advantage of others on our forum. Let me know if he manages to rectify the situation, but he has never posted here so I am guessing he will not miss this account.

Anyone up for a road trip to Sterling? I heard accidents are known to happen out there on occasion.

Magically after all the threats and posts i have a shipping address through paypal now. Turbo should be here tomorrow and we will see what happens. It's still stupid he ignored me for this long. I don't post things like this on the link forums, they don't like it. Thanks.

That phone number is apparently registered in Larimer County, Fort Collins and is a cell phone. I'm sure we could dig up more information if needed. But the weather has been nice for a little DSM road trip!! Maybe like 8 or 10 of us take a cruise!!

You bring the DSMs if you like, having someone show up unshaved in an old pickup with a bunch of "hardware" in the back is more likely to get results if you ask me.

Finally got it.. Missing the exhaust housing, and some chips on the compressor wheel.. But i got it.... ****ty deal.
