fiav blockoff??

Has anyone done the FIAV blockoff ona 1G TB? Have you also remove the ISC and used DSM Link to simulate it? What are your opinions on this? I am considering this option but wanted to know everyone's opinions first.

I blocked off my FIAV with a large amount of RTV and then just unhooked the coolant lines and ran them together.

I can't comment on simulating the ISC with DSMLink since I don't have The Link yet. I would say that I find my car needs the ISC under ECU control to control idle, especially on cold start-ups, so I think it's worth keeping.
