I am buying a used ecmlink v3 off of dsmtrader.com for 500 he has ran it for about 600 miles. Is there anything I need to have him do like transfer owenership? or anything else?

So this guy says there is nothing he needs to do. I guess if I get it and it does not work he will need to call dsmlink.

Just let Dave know that you've bought it and give him the seller's name and the serial # and you should be set.

Well my dad got a chip in the mail today, is that all I get? I think I got a bummed deal how do I tune with just a chip? Dont I need a cd and some cables?

He needs to include the other stuff. The program you can download but you should of got the cable too.
