Hey,
Does anyone have a hook-up for swapping tires in the Denver area?
I basically need to swap the 4 snow tires off of my 1g onto my Subi. So it would be 8 tire mount and balances.
Discount tire and the like are fairly pricey when you bring your own tires.
Thanks,
Craig

If you have a Peerless around you, they'll do it for about $50.

+1 for Peerless! No-nonsense operation where the employees don't say things like "Legally, I can't let you out of here without 7 new tires!"
A few years ago, Discount Tire refused to mount UNUSED snow tires on my Camry because the tires were too old, manufactured in 1999. They warned me the rubber was going to disintegrate soon and cause an accident. Peerless put them on no questions asked - the tires never disintegrated, imagine that!

Thanks guys! I'll look you up when the time comes, Don, but if you're too busy, it sounds like Peerless is the place.

Tire places are some of the worst garages in the world in general. The price always changes based on who you talk to or when, the service will range from flawless to they lost your wheels and tires and no one knows where they can be found, it's really unnerving dealing with people sometimes.

Walmart is super cheap if cost is your primary concern.

Also, most tire places do not torque the lug nuts with a torque wrench, and worse yet use an impact many times. This can possibly cause a few issues such as rotor warpage, wheel damage and wheels just plain falling off!

NP man, if I wasnt so busy (and wasnt sitting home today instead of at the shop) I could set somethign in stone, but Im just not sure of what sort of time we will have. If I cant do it my neighbor probably can, I will check with him Monday. He owes me a few favors so shouldnt be an issue.
