I have a Evo 3 manifold that had a tube and flange coming of the #1 runner for a Tial 40 wastegate. This setup was on my 2.3 that was in my 1G and it was great for years. I have since moved everything over to a 2G and that necessitated going to smaller wastegate for clearance. I picked up a Tial MV-S wastegate and had the square flange cut off and the new vband one put on.

Unfortunately the welding was bad and the whole thing fell off the manny, pipe and all. Does anyone know a good welder for welding cast in the Springs Area?

I live just south of falcon ... I have a GVR4 that has been off the road for a few months now ... I've seen a few as well ... got any pics of yours. If you ever saw a black gvr4 with no front bumper and a evo fmic than that was me

I saw it the other day at his shop. That's fricking awesome. On a side note, he seemed very confident about putting steel to cast Iron. I told him that knob hill did it and his comment was "butchers". I couldn't agree more. Knob Hill Welding is quite a bit more expensive too.

yeah Wayne is a good guy ... If he is confident about it then it will be fine he was welded stuff for me before and he usually will tell me before hand if he thinks there will be any problem. He has never let me down ... even on some stuff he wasn't sure would turn out (pot aluminum, oiliy aluminum ect)
