1) Lag bad
2) Nitrous good
3) I am no longer scared of spiders. I'm scared of getting a ticket.
I'm running a T4 PTE SC6376 with about everything you can put in the car. I have to give props to Jack for building a bulletproof bottom end and tranny to match. Don's manifold is a work of art. When we took the car out for a quick spin for the first time and I punched it in 2nd gear, the downpipe blew off. As in OFF.
Its moving alot of air. Yes, if youre going T4, get nitrous, you'll need it.

Hey thanks! We also did the IC pipes, head... Just be careful. Those rods you have in there are the weakened ones from your original engine. I didn't ever expect you to run this much power, so you might want to swap those rods.
Better keep the nitrous, you will need that if you run into me someday, lol :)
R1? 120<?? Is there any wagering involved with this? If you are looking for someone, I'll take you on.

Once I get a few things taken care of on the car I'd love to line up with you. I was out tuning last night and my AFR is still south of 10:1 at 53 lbs/min after getting my airflow accurate with my MAP sensor. No knock yet tho, even though I'm on 91 octane and 20 psi. I've got a little hope for this car yet after I get my fuel tuned and my boost around 30 psi.

I was going to, but time did not permit. When are you going to be there next? I have to plug a leaky coolant system before I drive it again.

I was there today for a few hours holding together loose ends and bull****ting with customers. Johns truck was on the dyno all day, I think 610 was the highest. They were having some difficulties.

Technically it is still making the same power, last year he switched from a 700r to a th400 and it soaks up alot more power. I think his best "dyno" was in the range of 680ish. Even so, 600whp, transbrake, 275/315 combo it almost lifts one of the front tires. Its nasty.

On a related note, we fired up the 318 in the Duster today. All thats left is a new fuel pump and misc lines and we're good to go. I'm pretty damn happy. Two cars fixed in 2 weeks.

Nice, its not FI is it? Im happy also, 3 months with the galant at the shop I think it ran for all of 2 hours. Back at home I had it running in 30 min. My MPI relay was going crazy so I added 2 more engine to chassis grounds. Then I had a cel and discovered who ever had the car before me failed to put a knock sensor in.

Nah, the Duster is NA. Just a cruiser. With what we put in it it'll make MAYBE 300HP. I'll be happy with that.

Nope, carb'd. 625CFM Eddie carb w/electric choke. I was suprised how cheap it was to assemble the parts for this car. Including the price of the car I'm 1100$ into the car.

Yeah - we got a few more goodies for the car. Cam came with the engine (75$ for a running motor), intake manifold was a trade and the carb was 50$ needing a rebuild. Headers were 90$ and misc crap wasnt much. The engine bay on that thing is so much cleaner and more spacious than my Talon.
