Believe it or not, I have been running on my DSMLink for over 2 years and have never connected up to it (Jack did very light initial setup). Now I'm trying to connect and having some issues.
I have the Keyspan USB/Console connector since I have no direct serial port.
Second problem, I never built a profile on the DSM link boards and they are now closed - so I can't read them.
Any help is appreciated
I live in Highlands Ranch if anyone is nearby and doesn't mind giving a hand.

A bit more information:

I have the Keyspan USA-19HS usb/serial adapter

I'm getting this error - "Scan failed to find a working connection"

It does look like the com port shows up for the DSMlink software to see.

Thanks,

Nevermind - I have found the source of the issue. Kind of stupid on my part, but the v3 software will not "see" the v2 chipset.

The V3 software definitely works with a v2.5 ROM. This page (http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/v2tov3settings) suggests that the V3 app works with all 2.xx versions.

Have you told the V3 application what ECU you are using?

Ooh, I have not. Did not see that part as I was just trying to get it to read. I think I may be playing with this some more :-)

Thanks,
