My friend and I are thinking of buying one of these when we have our turbos on. I've heard alot of good things about them on tuners. They are like 180 shipped with a 2300lb pressure plate and a six puck unsprung disk.
Is anyone running one of these clutches?

We run two of them. Both mean little FWD cars though. So we spin out power away. No issues with them.

Sick well i'm going to pick one up soon. Did you have to use an extended slave rod for any reason?

We have 89 CSM's. Our clutch pedals are bolted directly to the slave cylinder just like a 2G. So no extended rods here.

Uh, the 2G bolts to the master cylinder. Not the slave. And the 2G can have an extended rod on the slave, since the slave works just like the 1G slave does.

I'm retarded. I mixed my words up. Trying to reply from this gay blackberry is difficult sometimes.
What I was getting at, is with that setup, you have some issues if you are having to use a longer slave rod. I have never had the need to throw one in a csm or 2g. 1G and galant, but that is all.
Stupid phones.

i'm running one on the gvr4 ... I like it so far ... have a few hard launches on it. I would just make sure you get an unsprung disc as I have heard that is where they have problems is with the springs

Personally I loved my 8lb fidanza aluminum. If I had a chance at going even lighter I would have taken it.

Cool maybe I'll get a fidanza. Will it make my holset spool slower because of less load?

The only place it really hurts is the launch, you have to launch at a higher RPM for the same setup.

Hey does the fidnaza just bolt on or do you have to buy an aluminum kit to install it?

Mine was easy bolt on. Some people use longer bolts since the flange is thicker but I did not have any need for longer bolts on my install.
