:D
Hoping to get the install completed soon, with copious amounts of tuning to follow. The new-new cam is in, with much more boost-friendly overlap (or lack thereof - -3 degrees) but still a crap-ton of lift at .600.
I had to do my own fabricating on the IC mounting and the piping. The bracketry was actually fun. Pics are up at RMGTO.com (http://www.rmgto.com/gallery/mpedrick).
So, maybe soon, I won't be at the bottom of the Timeslips page. :D

Is that like some sort of over flow aux tank for the radiator? Maybe you just need a bigger fan. :shurg: Oh well, silly Cavilere owners.....
I'll be over today to run some of that plumbing or maybe the exhaust.

It's a 60-1.

Looks like you have the exact same Ebay FMIC I have. It seems to be a good core and for $160 shipped it can't be beat.

I did get it off of eBay - $130 shipped. I made sure I found it at a "reputable" vendor, and I was really impressed with the quality when it arrived.
The piping kit I bought, on the other hand... :(

Yeah, $130, $160, can't really remember. Sucks about the piping kit, who was it from? Shame them please.
I can't wait to see how it runs with the turbo. In the pics it looks like a full T4 60-1. What is the exhaust side? If you ever decide to upgrade I bet a 67-trim/P-trim would be pretty wicked and should fit the same spot.
You're aftermarket wheels look 1000 times better than the stock flowery looking things.

The piping kit actually comes from the same place - Top Speed Auto Accessories out of Texas. The piping itself is real light, thin-gauge aluminum, and there are enough random bends and whatnot in their generic kit that most monkeys could make it work.
The problem I have is with the couplers and the band clamps. The couplers are thin and will probably tear at a moment's notice, and the band clamps come apart at the clip once you tighten them enough to call them 'tight.' I doubt they'd stand up to much more than 10psi. Which is about all I plan to run, but blowing off IC pipes makes Baby Jesus cry.
I can't wait to see how it runs, either! Especially with the cam and an extra 1000 RPMs at the top end. I've thought about the 67, but it's another grand I don't want to spend, and I think I can get the car into stupid-fast, breaking-everything-in-the-drivetrain territory with just the 'baby' 60-1. Of course, I say that NOW. Later, when I've got the drivetrain buttoned up, I might feel differently. There's an STS-powered GTO running deep in the 9s with the T67.
I'll look up the spec on the exhaust side. It's relatively small.
