Welcome to the wonderful world of suicide sled ownership. K1 or K2? Nice bike.

Tried to fix your image, but clearly I'm retarded...

I rode one of those once. It was like riding God's hammer. Of course I was most likely to smite myself, but still...

Ride safe...

Nice!!! I can't wait to get my first bike!! I'm definately getting a GSX-R, most likely something closer to a 600 (since I've never owned a bike) so that I don't kill myself!!!!
Anyone getting rid of one for cheap????

Bigger huevos than me.

Those things scare me. I have no problem flying over sand dunes on my modified Banshee, but other drivers on the street are what keeps me (or rather what keeps me Wife) from letting me ride a bike. I tried to trade in my 1986 Honda 250 three wheeler on an '89 Hurricane. The Honda dealer wouldn't take trades of three wheelers anymore.

Good thing. I'd be dead by now.

No kidding. Having owned 7 different croch rockets, I had a cycle i'd go through. My buddy would show up in the spring, let me ride his bike and i'd get the itch again and go buy one. By the end of the summer, i'd have enough of stupid people running me off the road and i'd sell it in the fall. Literally, I did that 7 years in a row. lol

I would like another bike, maybe a KLR 650. Something to ride to the mountains, then trail ride, then ride home. :D

k2. The guy did some work on it, made 144 hp and ~76 ft lbs on the dyno.

Ryan I sent you an email about some engine work I need done on my 1G. Did you get it?

600s dont kill people. People kill people. Liter bikes arent as much faster then 600s as most people think. In the 1/4 I trap only 10 mph faster then my buddies zx6r. Highway is a little different. Just about the only thing liter bikes are good for are wheelies.

That's the truth. I used to read the cycle mags and they would rave about how much faster the literbikes were but when you look at the times around a track, the liter bikes were maybe a second faster and sometimes slower. And that's with a professional rider...

Yeah, I chose a Honda 600RR over an R1 for various reasons. Most people won't ever use a 600cc sportbike to it's full potential, I know I won't. 600s handle better than the bigger bikes and with aftermarket add-ons they can be as quick down low as liter bikes, though top end the liter bikes will pull away but nobody hardly ever uses top end that much. I'd still love to have a liter bike, and maybe someday I will, but I'm more than happy with my 600 now.
