I missed the run but I guess Marcus (the other Marcus) with the dark silver 2g Talon went 10.0 @ 140. Anyone catch that last night? That turbo he has is HUGE!

Last time I talked to Marcus was on Pinks All out last year? (or two?) Wasn't having good luck keeping his turbos together.

I didn't go up with him he was just telling me about it.

I don't think he was spraying. He hasn't had the best luck. He ran out of gas on one run last night. Last time I saw him at the track, he forgot the hood pins and his hood came up and went into the windshield. That bubble hump in the hood made the same shape in the windshield too!

Yeah i know marcus very well and i was there last night helping jared in the widow get his nhra lic passes in....Watched marcus go 10.0 at 141mph getting squirrely down the track he had a weak 1.6 sixty he let more air out but never made a clean pass after that run...He had a 1.5 sixty on his second run but boost line came off and went 10.3 at 135 mph....There was no bottle in the car he dynoed tuesday and put down 870hp on 44psi it still has boost in it they called it quites at that boost level for now because of the intake temps....Once he throughs his meth kit back in they will shoot for 50 to 55psi...


He did a great job getting it down the track he's a pretty humble guy....He took the bottle out because everyone swears he's spraying...The car could afford to loose some weight too..It's funny he gets it to hook with the drag radials with a small side wall.....

Marcus is running a Magnus 2.2L motor. I was there helping him the day he smashed his windshield. I was helping him get the last bugs worked out and his clutch adjusted. He thought it was some internal tranny issues, but he came out of the hole nicely and as soon as he shifted to third the hood came up. He forgot the hood pins.

Glad to hear he is finally able to get a clean pass. And that his car is coming together. Been a long hard road for him.

I have to agree with Hemicolt's comment about being humble as I have talked with him a few times and he has always been friendly and not full of himself. I hope he does reach his goal whatever that may be as he's been trying for it for quite sometime.
