View Full Version : Need Turbo housing stripped bolt hole tapped

Like the title says (why does everyone always start like that), LOL, anyway, my turbo (cast iron?) one of the bolt holes is stripped and desperatly need it tapped today (FRIDAY Aug27th) Hopefully, I can get it done today :(

Drill it out and use a bolt and nut Joe. That is how all four of mine are.
I run studs on the other car.

Yeah, I ended up having to do that with that one, then when I was trying to torque everything down cause it was still leaking one of the front ones stripped out (can't use a nut on that one), now, I can't even build any boost......... think my turbo finished after 7 yrs.

Aweee, that's too bad. Now you can put a real turbo on there and haul some serious ass.

lol, Yeah, looking at a couple different used ones........ BG 259 or 362, then also a FP 3065.
Can't afford what I really want and that's the DSM86........ But I guess anyone of them above would still be an upgrade, I soooooooooooooo wanted this POS 7yo internally gated 60trim to hit a 10 though :(

This happened to my pte scm6152e and I ended up just ordering one from pte. it was like $200
