View Full Version : My 'stock' exhaust :)

This was a pain, but it works so well! I cut the end of a stock muffler off and welded it to my real exhaust under the car. Unless you stick your head all the way under the car, you will never know that there is a full 3" straight through exhaust under there, lol! I have 2 dynomax ultraflow mufflers in my system to keep things efficient, yet quiet. I have one as a resonator and one as the muffler. Tyler and I took the car to Bandi on Sunday and it was a nice trip. I already got my moneys worth too! I was playing with my POS DSM link and I hit the gas (which made the car go from a quiet innocent girls car, to a jet aircraft 'taking off at full throttle' racket). As soon as I let off the gas, I see a cop sitting at the corner of my eye and he pulls out and pulls me over. He was looking at my car and it looked stock to him, so he let me go with a warning. I don't think he believed it was me making all the noise, lol! I love looking stock, yet have a car capable of a 132MPH trap.

Nice... Like a stealth fighter!! I bet that cop was a little upset that he couldn't find anything. The cops around Highlands Ranch absolutlely LOVE to pull over DSM's for absurd reasons..
So, did you run the car at Bandimere? Times...

No, I didn't pass inspection :( I will be at PMI for the Trick or Treat drags though.

Belts and batt switch. PMI never cared about it but I guess Bandi does, lol!

Bandi seems to be getting pretty strict as of late. I'm worried about passing myself when I get there. I hope I get kicked out for not having a cage after one run though!!!!!

Shoot, I'm old enough now that I'm the type of guy that buys this car because I want to feel like a teen again, but I'm too old to know what a cool fart can is all about, lol!
15yr old ho's?? Shoot, I have always wanted to take a girl out on a date in my old GVR4 when I was younger. It looked and sounded very stock as well. I wanted to just have a nice quiet and smooth ride, then hit it from a launch and scare the crap out of my innocent date with her yelling and getting out of the car with a piss stain as a going away kiss! Nobody dates dorks these days though, so my dream of making a first date piss her pants may never happen, lol!
