Hey everyone, figure I'll pass this along as someone may benefit...I just ordered a set of spark plug wires from Advance Auto Parts and got 40% off, which dropped the price from ~75$ to 45$(I added five Purolator oil filters to get the total over 100$ in order to get the full 40% discount...the filters ended up being only ~3$ a pop:D). You can get lifetime warrantied wires at Autozone for $42.99 (Bosch or Duralast), which in my opinion is the way to go since you only have to buy them once.

Did you buy Accell brand or what did you get?

Keep in mind though if you go over 100$ total, you are paying full price for additional items...I still need other stuff like wipers and such, so I'm going to start another order to get the discount on those also. Unfortunately, this doesn't include oil as I was going to buy some Mobil1 0w-40, which is the European formula with a considerably higher amount of anti-wear additives still in it, unlike all the new American car formulas.

I am thinking it expires 11/15, but can't seem to find that again so don't take my word for it:p I'll call corporate later and see if they know.

I got the NGK's which also have a lifetime warranty...I thought about going with a cheaper set, but the sale price is roughly the same as the cheaper sets. I've also heard NGK's are supposedly the best wire for our cars???(probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but I ideally prefer OEM parts)

Ok, I just asked a representative in an online chat about the expiration date. At this point, there is no determined expiration date. The rep. said it has been in effect since they started working there...I then asked "so it could be working for months to years possibly"...the answer was "yes". So there you have it folks...we may be able to use this for a long time or it could be gone tomorrow:D

That's weird, maybe you had another promotion in the basket which voided the coupon code...you could try removing each item one by one to see which is preventing the coupon.

Awesome! LC123 still works. I just bought a battery, several cans engine degreaser and RTV, all for far less than the battery alone at retail.

Still was a PITA to pick it up at the store, dumbass clerks don't know how to process online orders, not to mention getting my core charge back.

I found out the hard way that the receipt you get in the store does not include your discount and looks like you paid the entire bill. I was assured the amount submitted online is the actual amount paid. Hopefully my credit card statement agrees.

Has any one bought a turbo gasket kit from Advanced? If so does the kit come witha 7cm gasket for a s16g?

Those kits will typically include a gasket that will fit the automatic turbo (13g) or the manual turbo (14b with 6cm housing).

If you want one local that will fit the 7cm housing, I picked up a composite style collector gasket from Carz some months back.
