I noticed that I have some cracked insulation and even a broken wire in my injector harness. I was wondering if there is a good way to replace the whole injector harness without replacing the entire engine harness. Any advice is appreciated.

Pull it open and solder in what you need. The wires wont be hard inside the main harness because its all protected from the enigne heat.
I have replaced all my injector clips and wire back about 6 inches on each injector.

Thanks. I'll do that then.
I was hoping to hear: "Disconnect the thing down by the whatever and the whole works comes out as one piece"
Good thing I got l33t soldering skillz. Need to work on my taping though.

MSD makes a much better style injector clip. I just redid my whole harness. Theres a write up I did on the galant board. Let me know if you want to see it. The galant board is private..

I do want see that. If there's a way to upgrade instead of just repair then I'm all ears. I'd bet a few other folks on this board would be interested as well :)

Hey Austin,
Your write up is excellent! That is a really good idea and I'm going to follow your how to when I put my car back together here in the next month or two. Yes the board is private but I've attached a link to that particular thread anyway, chances are it won't work for people not registered but when you get a chance you should make a duplicate of that write up for our board here because it is very useful! I moved it into the how to section of the Galant board also since no one else did.
