So I've already been reading this guide:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/348859-how-wire-aftermarket-alarm-system.html
But My car alarm is one of those that's designed to work in 80000 different models of cars (Clifford 12.5x)
I wired up the ground and the [White/Black] Normally Closed: as seen in this picture:

The lock doesn't work, what am I missing?

Figured it out. Green/black is lock and blue/black is unlock. Violet and Violet/black are ground.

For future reference, http://the12volt.com is an awesome resource for wiring, circuits, and installations on any car.

12volt wasn't any help. I found the wires easily enough, it was just annoying trying to figure out which wires on the alarm side hooked up to it.

Back from the dead! It would be good for all involved if you could post more info about what your problem is.
Somewhat related...I'm surprised to hear 12 volt wasn't all that helpful...they used to be one of the absolute standouts for this type of issue.

Well I found the wires, but I couldn't test them through the back of the plug, they're just buried too far in there. What I ended up doing was finding the wires whose color was described in the bundle, and using the green/black as lock and blue/black as unlock. Violet and Violet/black are ground. In the car alarm book, this is described as a lock/unlock "Common (output)" system.
I was able to get mine wired up successfully, but watch out for loose wires! My unlock wire came loose and I gotta crawl back under there to tighten it (grumble).
