Fellow racers,

I'm looing at buy a HUGE sheet (3 foot by 6 foot) of carbon fiber, 2x2 twill, glossy for some interior pieces i'm going to make. I need a few longer skinny pieces so this will be overkill, but I need the length. Would anyone be interested in buying some of this off of me as I won't be needing all of it?

Let me know what all you'd be needing..

How thick is it? Thick enough that i can wedge it in my center console for a gauge cluster?

It's about 2mm. Thin, yet rigid. I'm building a center console out of it.

Next time I'm up there, I may pick up some of this. What were you wanting for this per square foot? Probably need 2 or 3 square feet. Enough for a center console switch panel and a gauge cluster panel.

For those who haven't figured it out yet, 2 mils is roughly .080" or 80 thousandths.

Not sure Marcus, my thoughts were if others needed some too, i'd buy a HUGE sheet. But if nobody needs it, i'll get a cut down piece. Ironically, a piece half the size of the biggie, is 2/3rds the cost. Go figure...

Actually, 2 "mils" is 0.002 inches. 2 mm is 0.080 inches. Not that anyone should really care about this. :) I'll go back to my hole, now...
