So I'm driving home from alamosa yesterday and am getting onto i70 east from c470. I go to put the car into 4th and let out the clutch and something gives way. The trany stopped getting power and wouldn't drive. It goes into every gear fine and smooth. Just doesn't get power. The clutch pedal still works great too. The slave, master, and clutch line are all fine and there's no fluid being lost. Also there is no noise coming from the trany with the motor being started or when you roll the car. I also have to add that with the motor started, clutch pedal out, that it will go into every gear even without pushing in the clutch. Its a compatition stage 5 unsprung 6 puck clutch and oem flywheel. I've heard you can loose the splines on the clutch disk and this will happen. Any ideas? I haven't torn it apart yet to find what happened. Any help or info would help greatly! Thanks guys!

Sounds like the splines sheared or the hub separated from the friction surface. Either way there is only one way to find out what happened ;)

Ya I'm towing it tomorrow. Then let the work begin. Not gonna lie though I'm going to the street disk. Unsprung is a lil much. And iv only launched the car once so the flywheel and pressure plate should be perfect still. This clutch and resurface has only like 15k on them

Just wanted to keep everyone posted. It was the clutch disk. The hub sheared off every rivit and seperated itself from the disk. Thank god its a cheap fix! I also got lucky because the flywheel and pressure plater are still perfect!
