Here's what it is. 2.7ltr Twin KKK Turbos (Same engine, turbos, HP as S4). 5 speed tiptronic autoshifting.
Current Mods-
Upgraded Recirc valves(pretty much like BOVs)
Unorthodox Underdrive pullet (hardest earned 7hp ever)
K&N, yeah not really a mod.
Future mods-
APR stage 3 eprom( est 318hp/385ft of torque)
Vagcom laptop software (no performance just alot of fun)
Thats it, no more mods than that, hey it's the family car :)

How long have you had the A6? How's the maintenance been on it? I just bought a 2000, a couple weeks ago. Mine's just a 2.8, but like you said it's the family/commuter car.

Do you still have the 3-series?

I've had the A6 for about a year and half. We've put about 50k miles on it. I've had to have the oil seals fixed in the back, you can tell you have this problem if you smell burning oil after a hard drive. I've had to have the hoses replaced to the after cooler, special little turbo cooling pump after you turn off the car. CV joints. Just getting ready to do suspension, Ive already purchased the Ebach Pro kit, progressive springs wtih a 1.5'drop in front and a 1" drop in back. I bought all the coorisponding parts for the suspention. Did timing belt right away, didn't trust the previous owner who said he had it done. Just don't want to take a chance on something like that. I'm also going tohave the tranny drained and filled, a full flush isn't possiable I've been told. It's cost about 4k in maintaince so far but I still love it over any car I've ever owned. I mean all the luxury and power you could want, and the handling is crazy. After the 18x8.5" wheels went on with the wider tires, it was huge. Now with suspension, maybe I'll autocross it :).

No. I decided to sell the 325. My brother has it now, so I still end up doing all the maintenance, though.
