Cause and solution..
On the new 93, the rear wiper was in the down position. Found a blown fuse. Replaced it and it blew again. Pulled the motor assembly out to find out it didn't spec out like the manual shows. There are 2 small caps that are soldered into the 3 prong wiring. They said 104 on them, blue in color, no other markings. I saw on the schematic they were caps, but no reference as the farad. I pulled out 2 104uF from my parts bin and soldered them into place. Sure enough, works like a champ. The 2 caps in question are either 104uF or the 104's work. So, if you have a dead motor, chances are, that's what it is!

104 = 10x10^-12 * 10^4 = 0.1x10^-6, or .1uF

If you care. :p

You're the man! I knew that formula at one point in my life, many moons ago. :p

You've forgotten, and yet somehow you still manage to survive without such a vital life skill... ;)

Just to get back on topic, I've seen at least one DSM that had the same problem with the rear wiper due to water collecting around the base of the motor and shorting it out internally. I never pulled the motor apart to see if it was fixable, though--you the man, Erron!
