I'm looking to order my timing belt parts, but I'm not totally sure what all I need for parts. SlowBoy has a kit here: http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=1054

It comes with the timing belt, tensioner pulley, idler pulley and tensioner. I would like to get a BSE kit too. So I'll also need a water pump, but what else?

I just want to make sure I order everything needed for the job! :)

5th section down...Depending on what model you have that should help. I would have given the direct links you needed but you did not list your model.

When I did mine I just got the parts from Boulder mitsu (mile high has the same discount) and it came out just as cheap as using mail-order parts. I would highly encourage you to check out the price diff between mail order (usally not mitsu) and real OEM. Also think about the water pump while you are in there....

You should really just buy the parts from Mile High or one of our other discounted dealers. Replacing everything is really the best idea. The slowboy kit looks like it only does the basics. I'd call up and get a price total from a dealer before deciding on that kit. You can get your BSE stuff from the dealer also much cheaper. I know up there in Fredrick its a drive down south to Mile High (it is for me in Arvada too), but they can ship it to you also.

Edit: Cyber beat me too the punch, but nailed it. Boulder no longer has a parts department so your limited to Mile high for the discount.

Local vendors are best, or use the tried and true vendors like RRE. I've seen a million posts where SBR has left out a part or two in people's orders creating issues for people, their machine shops, etc.
