I know its "just a Corsica" But I love it! Right now it has a 3100 SFI with a Tranzgenic CAI, an full 2.5 inch Magnaflow Wide Open exhaust, and a Fast Forward Performance UDP.When it is done it will be a 3400 with a CAI, UDP and the full 2.5 inch exhaust! I started swaping a 3400 SFI into it this morning. My first full swap. I think I should be done Tuesday night no problem. I am done for the night and all I have to do in the morning is hook up the hoist and pull the 3100 out. Then swap some parts over and drop the 3400 in by tomorrow night. Tuesday I can hook everything back up.

So far...

How much more power does the 3400 have compared to the 3100? I would have just swapped in a 3800 GTP motor then messed with that. If it goes in as easy that is. I have a buddy selling a lumina with a GTP motor in it, seems like kinda your style if you know anybody that wants it PM me.

The 3800's take some modding to do to get it to fit n the corsica. My 3100 has about 170 whp and 200 lbs of torque uncorrected (with small bolt ons) and over 150,000 miles on it. I got this 3400 for 400 bucks and I got this Corsica for free. The 3400 has 175 hp with 210 lbs of torque stock plus my bolt ons so about 190hp..Blah Blah blah.... This is why i chose the 3400... The corsica is my daily driver that sometimes I race, but not often anymore. I got the car for free so a 400 dollar engine that has only 20,000 miles is a good deal. Since it is my daily there is no sense in spending tons of cash on it or making a point to make it fast. Its just a corsica.. they are not made to go fast in the first place. Instead of spengin tons of money on the corsica to get it to go 14's at its fastest, maybe 13's... I would rather put my money in the Talon and go 10's....Even though 10's are off for a year or so... I think my money is best spent there then on a dail driver, that already has all new parts.

20,000> 150,000 on a daily driver..

Why yes it is.. hahaha. She is so confused! Multiple personalities! Beretta z26 front bumper, GTZ rear Bumper, Gt spoiler, Gtz Seats, Z34 hood vents, corsica LTZ grill...and soon to be Indy mirrors. oh and dont forget the Alero engine.. hahaha. So it would be a Alumiberettica.

Good eye.. or did you see my article in the Bandimere paper?
She will bepainted and the door dings out, but i am looking for a real race car now... I think she has served her purpose, which was a good practice race car. Alittle slow, but I got the hang of it I think. I just hope I dont FUBAR it up my last race friday night and fall back in points..

To much modding to get it to fit... not woth the time and tuning it would be a pain... best i would do on that would be a 15 flat. I would much rather do a 3400 sc set up like some aleros here who have hit high 13's. This car is done.. I drive it daily and whoop some butt at the track in it. Great practice car as it sits now. Only mid 16's, but hey, at least I am out there! I will be running a new car in King street in 08 and am in the process now of getting and building a mid 80's regal with a big block..

Scott wants a DSM... so we are looking for one.

This is the final product of the slow beast.. I will be painting it and fixing the dings.. may put new shocks and struts and lower it about an inch.. wheel gap ftl!! But its mostly done. Now that I am moving on to better things.. I am greatfull for having this car to practice in.. it got me 3rd in sport compact this season. 11 Trophies this season, 1 track record and several perfect light pins! 8th place in fall series and 25th place in hot rod club clash out of 400 cars! I would have had 1st in sport compact but I choked.. hahah..

Thank you!!

The interior is kinda ugly, meaning carpet and door panels. I have 2 kids so I wasnt into fixing all that since they will mess it up anyways. There are some dings and scratches.. I fixed the driver rear quarter panel.. it had a huge hole in it... its not the pertiest car.. but it is a good reliable daily. I never ment for this car to be a race car or something spectacular. I just make everything I own a project and this Corsica got lucky!! I race it because thats all I have for now.. hahaha

I actually am in the midst of getting BBC regal together to race. I am very excited!!

Scotty will get a DSM...

Thanks for the compliments!!:D
